The International Blessed Broodmare Project is dedicated to helping horses avoid slaughter and go to safe, permanent homes if possible. When a 'forever home' is not available, we are fortunate to have loving people who have dedicated their lives to providing a safe-haven with an adoption program for these dis-placed horses. Sadly, not all "rescues" are legitimate and sometimes "rescued" horses often get re-sold from feedlots only to begin the cycle of neglect and abuse all over again before ultimately ending up at a slaughterhouse. Our members have researched the rescues listed on this page and TIBBP has personally worked with them and trust their integrity. Rescues survive because of your donations. There is feed to buy and often medical expenses to cover. They can not do the amazing work that they do without help. Sometimes they need volenteers to help out on the ranch. Please don't feel like you can't make a difference because you can only do a little. Every little bit helps and as we at The International Blessed Broodmare Project have discovered, the impossible task of moving a mountain can be done one bucket full of dirt at a time very quickly when many hands chip in to help. |

by Deborah Derr, in Montana. Deborah has not only been very helpful
to our mission by creating beautiful videos, she has also adopted
one of the Blessed Broodmares. Molly-Belle is a beautiful young
Belgian mare that faced an uncertain fate when the PMU farm she
